Fernandinho is proud of the impact he's made with Manchester City.
The Brazilian has been reflecting how his initial impressions of the club gave him the motivation to give everything in every game he played.
"When I arrived here I saw a team that was hungry to win titles and play good football," he said.
"It was the same hunger I had in my mind and it was a really, really good decision to come and play for this team.
"It was a really good step forward. It was a little bit different than what I had in Ukraine. There were quality players and the way you train between the games was really good for me because I changed my style of play a little and improved a little bit and during the games I could show my improvement."
When asked if he was the best Brazilian to play for the club, however, Fernandinho preferred to focus on the attributes he would like to be remembered for.
He said: "I don't know. Maybe yes but I'm not sure. You can confirm I was the first Brazilian to win the Premier League for City. That's good, that's nice.
"There will be other Brazilians to play for City in the future but I think that's the legacy I want to give: everyone from my country who comes to play for this club has to play with hunger, belief, and above all, love for this badge and try to put everything into the pitch and put the best performance to win the games and titles. That's what I believe."
