Fernandes says QPR working to strict transfer budget

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes admits they're working to a strict transfer budget.

Fernandes says they won't repeat the mistakes of two summers ago.

"I'm not going to tell you what the figure is, but there is a number, and I'd even like to break even or even make some money for the first time," he told the Fulham Chronicle.

"We're not going to go down that route (of overspending).

"Let me be very clear on agents. We will not play more than five per cent to any agent. Anyone thinking they can take more out of QPR can disappear."
