Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes set another club record with his goal in victory at Aston Villa on Sunday.
Fernandes ' penalty on Sunday afternoon saw him enter the United and Premier League history books.
No player in the club's history has ever scored more than Fernandes' 13 penalties in one season and it continues his remarkable record since moving to Old Trafford, reports ESPN.
It has only been just over 15 months since the 26-year-old joined the club but he has already scored 21 penalties in his 76 appearances.
With Fernandes bagging 39 goals in that time, it means more than half – well 53.9 per cent to be precise – of his goals for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have come via the penalty spot.
And his penalty during the 3-1 victory at Aston Villa was the 113th spot kick in the Premier League this season – the most during a season in the competition's history. The previous record of 112 came during the 2006-07 campaign.
