Fenerbahce are rethinking their move for released Tottenham fullback Serge Aurier.

The Ivory Coast international secured a release from his Spurs contract last week and is now a free agent.

Fanatik says Aurier has been in talks with Fener about a move to Turkey.

However, Fener chiefs are reluctant to get involved in an auction and have pulled back in the last 24 hours due to the competition for Aurier's signature.

Turkey's summer market closes today, but Fener can sign Aurier outside the window due to his free agency status.
