Fenerbahce have tabled a £15 million bid for Racing Santander striker Nikola Zigic.

The Turkish giants are new favourites for the Serbia international ahead of Manchester City, whose last offer was for £12 million.

Racing president Francisco Pernia intends to sell to the highest bidder and Fener's offer meets his asking price.

Fener already have flexed their muscle in the Spanish market after landing Roberto Carlos from Real Madrid at the end of last season.
