Fenerbahce sporting director Emre rues missing out on Malang Sarr.

While accepting the free agent's move to Chelsea over the summer, Emre had hoped to take the young defender on-loan for the season.

However, despite holding talks with Chelsea, Emre saw Sarr sign with Porto for the season.

And the former Nice defender, after a slow start, is now impressing for Sergio Conceicao's team.

So much so, reports Fanatik, that there's genuine regret inside Fener that Emre couldn't get a deal over the line.
