Fenerbahce's new sports chief Damien Comolli is determined to land a big name striker signing.

Comolli has registered his interest with the agents of Arsenal ace Alexandre Lacazette since his appointment - and is also eyeing Barcelona forward Paco Alcacer.

Sporx says Comolli believes he has a better chance of tempting Alcacer to Istanbul than Lacazette.

Further strengthening their hopes is Fener president Ali Koc's relationship with Barca's board.

Alcacer will be put up for sale by Barca this summer as they seek to raise funds to cover the potential €100m signing of Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann.
