Fenerbahce accept Tottenham close to deal with Bayern Munich defender Boateng

Off contract in June, Boateng has been informed he won't be offered new terms by Bayern management.

Fanatik says Fenerbahce were keen on the Germany international, but they're trailing well behind Tottenham in the race for his signature.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing the defender to London this summer.

And despite an attempt from Fener, there's a belief in Turkey that Boateng is well down the line to agreeing Bosman terms with Tottenham.
