Felipe Melo says he'd welcome Juventus return

Felipe Melo says he'd welcome a return to Juventus.

Melo, now with Palmeiras, has been in the news this week after being hammered by Juve captain Giorgio Chiellini in his new book.

“There are players who make a difference," the 36-year-old told Ole.

“Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar... Then there's me, Felipe Melo, and my kicks, something I do very well.

“But I don't just kick. I was also able to assist Robinho, for me one of the best ever, at the 2010 World Cup against Netherlands.

“People who think of Felipe Melo immediately think of kicking, but I'm not just about kicks.

“I didn't go to Juventus, Inter, Fiorentina or Galatasaray for the blows I gave on the pitch. I've won 15 trophies, so I have some quality.

“If Juve call me to play with Cristiano, I'll go back. Barcelona wanted De Ligt, Cristiano Ronaldo called him and now he's at Juve, 20 years old..."
