Federici used rugby shock to break Reading tension

Reading's Aussie goalkeeper Adam Federici was able to break the tension before their crunch 1-0 win against Derby on Sunday.

Royals No1 Marcus Hahnemann revealed to the Daily Mail: "Tensions were pretty high before the start. Then Dave Kitson went up to our tactics board and drew '12-10' on it with the red and blue magnets.

"It gave us a laugh and helped relieve the pressure a little. 'Feds' (Adam Federici), my Australian backup, wore all black today because of Saturday's rugby result, which made us laugh, too."
