Oussama Assaidi has no regrets over his time at Liverpool.

Now 28, the former Stoke City winger signed for FC Twente last week.

Asked about his time with Liverpool five years ago, Assaidi declared to AD: "No, I do not think that I failed at Liverpool.

"Every footballer in his prime would go to Liverpool if he had the chance. Everyone knows how beautiful that club is, you get goose bumps when you're out there on the field.

"I played with great players like Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez - and really learned a lot, I'm glad I made that step."
