FC Midtjylland have moved for England U20 striker Max Clayton.
Clayton has spent time this summer with Sunderland, Wolves and Bolton Wanderers.
BT says the Danish side have taken the 20-year-old on trial after striker Morten Duncan Rasmussen was ruled out for up to two months with a ligament injury.
Clayton is currently out of contract having rejected Crewe's offer of a three-year deal which has been on the table since November.
