Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas plans to end his loan with FC Koln in January.

The Czech Republic international joined Koln in August, but has failed to make a first team impression this season and wants out.

Koln won't stand in his way and sources say Kalas will be back in London by Monday.

The defender is then expected to be loaned out again by Chelsea for the second-half of the season, with QPR favourites to take him on.

Kalas spent two years on-loan with FC Twente before making his Chelsea debut last season.
