FC Dallas have confirmed that Fabian Castillo has re-signed with the club.
The 22-year old Colombian winger has penned a five-year contract extension that will see him remain at Toyota Stadium until at least the end of the 2019 MLS season.
Castillo, who joined Dallas from Deportivo Cali in 2011, enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2014 when scoring 10 goals which landed him the club MVP.
Of Castillo's deal, FCD technical director Fernando Clavijo said: "We're very excited to have secured the services of Fabian Castillo for the future.
"He is the future of this franchise. He is a player we have been able to help grow. We also believe he has yet to achieve his full potential.
"FC Dallas has a more mature and complete player in Fabian today than we did a few years ago, but each year he remains with FC Dallas, the better he will become."
