Maynor Figueroa has joined FC Dallas from MLS rivals Colorado Rapids.
The Texan outfit have landed the Honduras national team captain in exchange for general allocation money.
Figueroa, 32, arrives at Dallas having spent the second half of the 2015 MLS season with the Rapids following his move from Hull City.
Prior to that, Figueroa made over 200 appearances for Wigan Athletic between 2008 and 2013, and again on loan in 2014, prompting FCD technical director Fernando Clavijo to praise the signing of the experienced defender who is comfortable at both centre-back or left-back.
“Maynor Figueroa is an experienced player that will help solidify our defensive unit," said Clavijo in a statement.
“We are excited to have him in Dallas."
