Like father, like son! Schmeichel scores for Leicester

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel struck a late equaliser last night in their 1-1 draw with Yeovil Town.

Schmeichel headed a Danny Drinkwater cross against the underside of the bar and the ball appeared to bounce down just over the line in the first minute of stoppage time - before Chris Wood made sure.

Wood was credited with the goal - but Schmeichel is likely to join his father Peter in the goalscoring goalkeepers' club courtesy of the dubious goals panel.

After the game Craig Shakespeare, Leicester's assistant manager, said: "Kasper Schmeichel is having a look at the goal replay now. Chris Wood has been credited with it. We'll let them fight it out!"
