Hermann Hummels has admitted that Bayern Munich are showing considerable interest in his son Mats.

The German defender continues to be linked with a summer move away from Borussia Dortmund with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern lining up for his services.

Hummels' agent and father Hermann has revealed that there is no shortage of enthusiasm towards the 27-year-old centre-half while confirming that Bundesliga giants Bayern, where the player begun his career, are one of the many clubs circling.

"Mats is facing a tremendously important decision in his career, in his life," Hermann told Bild.

"Dortmund is back among the top clubs in Europe, so the decision is so hard for him.

"If he should leave Dortmund, then he goes to one of the five or six top clubs. And to these clubs one is of course FC Bayern."
