The father of Real Madrid midfielder Reinier Jesus admits he's frustrated at Borussia Dortmund.

Reinier is in his second season on-loan at Dortmund, but has struggled for minutes.

Father Mauro Brasilia told AS: "He can't understand it. He hasn't had opportunities and once he get a game, the spotlight is on him. But that's fine, it's not the first time that people have talked about Reinier.

"He's learning by going down a different route because he doesn't understand battling things that are going against him. Dortmund haven't prepared him for big moments. We never asked that he should always be in the starting XI, we've only asked that he gets enough playing time to be able to develop.

"Madrid feel quite uncomfortable about the situation, but they can't do anything about it. We are very grateful to them for all they've done. The original plan was a two-year loan to see how he got on before turning to Madrid, but now that is much more difficult. But there is always time in life to change things, as my wife always says."
