The father of Juventus defender Fede Gatti was proud seeing him score in their Europa League draw at Sevilla.

Gatti struck in injury-time for the Europa League semifinal first-leg 1-1 draw.

Ludovico Gatti: "I am very proud of what he is experiencing, I think this is just the beginning of his journey. I hope he can have experiences like this again in the future.

"One must hold on tight, otherwise you risk falling off the chair for all the emotions he is experiencing. Yesterday's is the goal of destiny. Sometimes he puts his hand in it.

"I wanted it to happen, and it happened. Federico still has ample room for improvement, also from a character point of view. At first it was evident that it was something he had inside of him, but then he was lucky enough to find people who believed in him. He has the character of Juve."
