The father of Dinamo Zagreb wing-back Dani Olmo has opened the door to a return to Spain.

The former Barcelona junior is prepared to leave Dinamo this month.

Dad Miquel told Calciomercato.com: "Dani has a contract with Dinamo but the club knows our will to leave, we believe it is the right time. Not only for Dani's goals but also for the team, which can make an interesting economic operation. He must have the opportunity to go to a world class championship."

Asked about Barca and Real Madrid, he added: "My son wants to play. If Madrid or Barcelona arrive but without the possibility of playing it would not be a good scenario for him.

"In Barcelona there are two currents of thought: one that says that if a player leaves he must not return and another who understands that a player like Dani may have the opportunity to return to a football he knows."
