Father cools Napoli exit talk for Man Utd, Liverpool target Insigne

The father of Lorenzo Insigne has played down the prospect of leaving Napoli this summer.

The midfielder is being linked with PSG, Manchester United and Liverpool amid claims Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is willing to sell for €100m.

But father Carmine told Napoli Magazine: "Lorenzo is doing very well in Naples and does not intend to go anywhere else. The captain's armband is a source of great pride for him and for our entire family.

"Rumours about the interests of other European teams? We do not know anything about it. Lorenzo is proud to play in Naples. He has realized a dream and hopes to win this year the Europa League, like the rest of the team.

"The future of my son is azzurri, and the support of the fans is always a pleasure."
