Former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has emerged as the fan favourite to takeover from Alan Pardew at West Bromwich Albion.
The 54-year-old is currently in charge of Belgian side, OH Leuven.
Pearson served as Baggies assistant coach under Bryan Robson back in 2006. And when asked by Albion's local publication, the Express & Star, to submit their votes for their favoured managerial candidate, Pearson polled the most.
He received 23 per cent of the vote, with former Wolves manager Mick McCarthy coming in second with 17 per cent.
