The Birmingham Mail recently asked Aston Villa fans in a poll which players they would like to see leave the club this summer and it has revealed some interesting names.

Among those not wanted by the Villa faithful are captain Ron Vlaar, veteran striker Darren Bent, midfielder Joe Cole, full-back Kieran Richardson and central defedmer Philippe Senderos.

76.07% of fans want Dutch defender Vlaar to leave while 74.95% are eager to see the back of Bent who is currently on loan at Derby Couty.

Other players leading the charts are Richardson (80.77%), Cole (87.89%), Senderos (70.45%) and Chris Herd (90.82%).
