Liverpool are set to reward fan favourite Jon Flanagan with a brand new contract, according to reports.

Flanagan has recently battled back to full fitness following an extremely frustrating 18 months on the sidelines due to a serious knee injury but the defender did not know whether he would be remaining put at Anfield beyond the end of the current campaign as he entered the final three months of his contract at his beloved club.

In news which will certainly delight fans, it has now been revealed that Liverpool are ready to reward Flanagan with a three-year contract after having impressed manager Jurgen Klopp upon his return to full fitness.
