​Fan charged after Watford-Everton game

A fan has been charged after an incident during the Watford vs Everton game.

Taking place at Vicarage Road, an incident took place outside the ground.

The 23-year-old was arrested and is now out on bail.

He is being charged with a violent disorder, along with possession of drugs.

A few other fans were also arrested, mostly from Liverpool.

These arrests are linked to an incident outside the ground, which left two people needing treatment at a hospital.

A police spokeswoman said on Saturday evening: "At around 5.10pm, an altercation occurred between a group of men.

"Two sustained cuts and bruising to their faces and have been taken to hospital for further assessment."
