The family of missing pilot David Ibbotson has set up a GoFundMe page to help locate his body.

It has raised over £65,000 in its first 24 hours.

The campaign, set up on Friday night, has a target of £300,000.

Mr Ibbotson and £15million Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala disappeared on January 21 after their Piper Malibu N264DB single propeller aeroplane went missing over the English Channel en route from Nantes to Cardiff.

On Thursday evening Sala's body was formally identified, however Mr Ibbotson is still yet to be discovered.
