Falkirk boss John Hughes would consider the vacant manager's post at Swansea should an official approach be made. Hughes, a former Swansea defender, told BBC Wales: "I'm contracted to Falkirk, I'm enjoying my job at Falkirk and it would have to be an official approach for anything else to happen.
"It's a massive club, I had a great time at Swansea when I was there.
"I'm flattered to be linked with such a good club, a wonderful city and really warm people.
"I would be very interested if the approach was official."
Earlier, Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told the Daily Record: "I know John was down here as a player.
"As things stand it is a bit too early at this stage to put him on any list.
"But John is definitely somebody we know and I wouldn't rule him in or out."
