Falkenberg chief Hakan Nilsson admits they could sell Jesper Karlsson to Manchester United.
Aftonbladet reports United sent a scout to watch the 18-year-old striker in action on Monday night in the 2-0 defeat to Hammarby.
"The fact is that the player wants [to leave] and we may agree with one club," Nilsson said.
"We see that it is good for Jesper's development so we will probably let him go.
"It's possible that they [Manchester United] have expressed interest - just like a number of other major clubs.
"But I do not think anything right now. First and foremost, there has been no kind of formal offer from any club to us."
