Falcao return to Atletico Madrid unlikely

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has conceded that it is highly unlikely that Radamel Falcao will return to the club this summer following a disappointing loan spell with Manchester United. The Colombia international is now being linked with a move to Premier League Champions Chelsea.

Falcao confirmed that his future will be decided 'in the coming weeks' when quizzed by reporters in the lead-up to Colombia's clash with Costa Rica this weekend.

That move, and one for Juventus striker Carlos Tevez, according to Cerezo, is unlikely to be Atletico Madrid.

"The Falcao one and the Tevez one are very difficult," Cerezo told Radio4G.

"Now they are all illusions that the fans can make, but I think that the team is very good now", the president continued.

"We are going to bring in two or three reinforcements."
