Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard does not believe England's top clubs are declining on the European stage.
Chelsea's Champions League elimination at the hands of ten-man Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night has prompted plenty of questions regarding Premier League clubs on the continent.
?Arsenal and Manchester City face early exits from Europe's premier club competition while only Everton remain in the Europa League but Gerrard is not too worried.
?"I don't think it has been our year but I don't think it is a crisis. I don't think it will repeat as the years go by," he said.
"Teams will bounce back, teams will make signings in the summer.
"It has happened before teams have gone out early and the next year one comes back and wins it. I don't think it is a major problem but as a whole we haven't been good enough."???
