FA investigates Sancho transfer from Man City

Manchester City are under investigation for the transfer of Jadon Sancho when he was 14.

The young Englishman has since gone on to Borussia Dortmund, where he is showing his quality.

However, City are in hot water over a supposed £200,000 payment to the player's agent when he was only 14.

According to the BBC, the investigation is the result of a law that players cannot have agents until they turn 16.

Sancho joined City at 14 from Watford, who were paid £66,000 in compensation.

A City statement on this issue said: "The attempt to damage the club's reputation is organised and clear.

"We will not be providing any comment on out of context materials purported to have been hacked or stolen from City Football Group and Manchester City personnel and associated people."
