FA CUP: Monetary reward not everything as Bradford go after FA Cup semi-final

Bradford City are not solely after money in the FA Cup according to manager Phil Parkinson.

The League One outfit are just one step away from booking a semi-final berth with cup holders Arsenal as they get set to face Reading at the Madejski Stadium in the quarter-final on Monday night.

Ahead of the monumental contest, Parkinson highlighted the importance of a club in England's third tier making it as far as they have in the famous cup competition and suggested the fiscal incentive was not at the forefront of the West Yorkshire clubs mind.

"The financial rewards are huge but the main thing for us would be the achievement," he told the club's official website.

"To get a League One club to this stage of the FA Cup is a great achievement. Can we go one step further? We'll see on Monday night.

"Hopefully we will have as many fans as possible behind that goal at Reading. I truly do believe that they can make all the difference on the night.

"Reading are understandably trying to build this game up and get the atmosphere up around the ground so we need to make sure all the Bradford fans are in full voice as well."
