FA CUP HT: Chelsea 0-2 Man Utd - Shearer says 'Chelsea have played into United hands'

England legend Alan Shearer says Manchester United deserve their 2-0 halftime lead at Chelsea for Monday night's FA Cup tie.

Ander Herrera and the outstanding Paul Pogba have the goals for United.

Shearer said: "Man Utd have been much better than Chelsea. They have been more aggressive, sharper, won more tackles and have been very powerful. When they have had to defend they have done it very well and when they have attacked they hit Chelsea on the counter-attack. Chelsea have played right into United's hands and United have picked them off."

Former Blues defender Wayne Bridge blames Marcos Alonso for Chelsea's woes, with the players booed off at halftime.

"I thought Chelsea started well and the goal was against the run of play.

"Defensively Alonso isn't good enough, his body position for the first goal. There's not enough talking going on."
