The Football Association has charged both Tottenham and Aston Villa following an incident in Sunday's clash at Villa Park.
Players from both sides were involved in a fracas during Spurs' eventual 2-1 win when Christian Benteke clashed with Erik Lamela and Ryan Mason.
In the wake of the event, the FA have opted to charge both clubs for their involvement but both Villa and Tottenham will get the chance to respond by Monday evening.
"Both Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur have been charged by The FA following their game on Sunday 2 November 2014," read a FA statement.
"It is alleged that, in or around the 66th minute of the game, the clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion."
Goals from Nacer Chadli and Harry Kane allowed Tottenham take all three points back to north London following Andreas Weimann's 16th-minute opener while Benteke was sent off for pushing Mason in the face.
