The Football Association have announced the January transfer window will close on Monday, February 2. Because January 31 falls on a Saturday they will be handed extra time to complete deals.
The FA have chosen to fall in line with most national bodies in Europe by announcing the extended deadline, to allow transfers to be processed at the start of the working week.
