Exeter City have rejected an offer from League One rivals Norwich for defender Dan Seaborne.

Canaries boss Paul Lambert is very keen on the 22-year old but Exeter were not happy with the offer the club put forward.

"We know at some point that Dan is good enough to go higher in the game and we don't want to stand in his way," Exeter director of football Steve Perryman said.

"But the time is not now and especially not for such a derisory amount."
