Bristol City defender Aden Flint has been likened to Chelsea's England international Gary Cahill.
Flint is attracting interest from Sunderland and West Brom ahead of the summer market after a superb Championship campaign with City.
A former England C international, Flint spent three years at non-league Alfreton Town, where their media chief, Kev Miles, saw the centre-half on a regular basis.
Asked to compare him with any of today's Premier League defenders, Miles told Tribalfootball.com: "I could perhaps liken Aden to Gary Cahill at Chelsea.
"Tall, strong, dominant in the air, can play a bit and loves to get goals."
Bristol City boss Lee Johnson is in agreement, convinced they have a Premier League player on their books.
"I have no doubt he can do it at an even higher level. I've no doubt he has a Premier League future ahead of him and, hopefully, it is with us."
