David Trezeguet is supremely confident that Paul Pogba will continue to get better and better for Juventus.

The 23-year-old French midfielder is already one of the preeminent players in his position in world football and although he has quickly reached great heights in Turin, there is still plenty more to come.

That is the opinion of Juventus legend Trezeguet who this season has watched Pogba guide the Bianconeri to a fourth-straight Serie A title since arriving at the club from Manchester United in 2012.

“I think he is going particularly well, given his age," Trezeguet told Tribalfootball.com of the 29-time France international.

“His age is an asset but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

“Despite his young age, he has some great qualities that really make a difference. He is a slightly different player to the others in terms of mentality, in terms of physicality and in terms of attitude on the pitch.

“It is a huge asset for Juventus.

“As I said, there is so much room for improvement and that is what Massimiliano Allegri is working on because they are both aware that he can still grow."

Pogba has already amassed more than 170 appearances for Juve and at such a tender age, can become a powerhouse in the game for years to come if his career trajectory continues on the upward rise it has until now.

Trezeguet was in Melbourne last week speaking as his Juventus' ambassador at the launch of the 2016 International Champions Cup Australia, presented by Audi which takes place at the MCG between the Serie A champions, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, Premier League title-chasers Tottenham Hotspur and current A-League title holders Melbourne Victory in late July.
