Exciting Italian teenager Marcello Trotta is delighted with his progress at Fulham this season.
Trotta, who was a target for Manchester City, signed his first professional contract with Fulham earlier this month and admits he's pleased with his decision to move to England.
"I could have stayed in Italy and played football near my house forever, that would have been easy," he told fulhamfc.com. "But this is my dream and you need to make sacrifices to achieve your dreams.
"The hardest thing is being away from my family. When you are just 16 it's tough. A lot of the time you are ok because you are playing football, but sometimes you want to go home, you want to see your friends and your family, but you can't.
"When you do get the chance to go home, it's just for one night, and it never feels like enough. But it's ok, this is the life I have chosen, it's my job, it's my dream."
