Former West Ham defender Reece Oxford faces demotion to the German Fourth Division at Augsburg.

Kicker says Augsburg were keen to loan him out in last month's transfer window.

Oxford was set for a loan move to struggling Dutch side VVV Venlo and The Sun says Luton Town made contact over a shock deal as well.

However, neither move failed to materialise.

And it's now claimed that Oxford could yet “collect game time" in the Regional League, which is Germany's fourth division.
