Ex-West Brom midfielder Yousouf Mulumbu taking legal action against former agents

Former West Brom midfielder Yousouf Mulumbu claims he has lost millions to an 'adviser'.

Mulumbu is suing his former advisers and claims they “robbed millions" from him, reports The Sun.

The DR Congo international, 31, spent six top-flight seasons with the Baggies before heading to Kilmarnock via Norwich.

Throughout that time he was represented by the Sport Management Conseil.

Mulumbu ended his eight-year spell with the Paris-based agency last year and has revealed how they allegedly deceived him on Twitter.

The former Baggies hero said: "I worked with the SMC agency between 2009 and 2017, and wanted to put my trust in people who were supposedly competent.

"But it turned out to be a bad decision.

"The central characters who represented me simply deceived me - and robbed me of millions of euros.

"So I am taking legal action against this company.

"After robbing me, these people withheld my bonus payment from Norwich because I didn't want to work with them anymore."
