Portland Timbers defender Liam Ridgewell hopes to put down roots in MLS.
Ridgewell has been a star for Portland since his arrival from West Bromwich Albion.
"It's been fantastic," Ridgewell told MLSsoccer.com. "To live on a lake and have a boat in London you have to live on the River Thames and be a multi-billionaire. I'm definitely not there, that's for sure. It's easy to get involved with Portland.
"I'm all in for sure. Like I said, if I'm going to come here I'm going to do it properly."
