Former Aston Villa defender Wilfred Bouma has secured a return to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, five years after he first left the club.
The 32-year old Dutchman has signed a two-year deal at the Philips Stadion after initially linking up with the club to continue training to maintain fitness.
Bouma joined Villa in 2005 and was a regular before a badly broken leg stalled his career and forced the Birmingham club to release him at the end of last season.
He was delighted after penning the deal with PSV: "It is up to the coach to decide when he needs but I would like to show I can still contribute," he told the club's official website.
"PSV is a team with great potential. I am very happy to be back at PSV."
