After his dismissal at Tranmere Rovers, John Barnes is aiming to bounce straight back into management.
The Sunday Mirror says Barnes is bidding to return to football as manager of minnows Rwanda.
The former Liverpool and England winger, 45, was axed as Rovers boss this month after a disastrous start to the season.
He has recently been reported to be facing bankruptcy.
Now Barnes, who has also managed Celtic and coached his native Jamaica, hopes to revive his career with Rwanda - who currently lie 114th in the FIFA rankings.
