Sacked Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has held talks with Juventus.

La Stampa reports that Juve chiefs have already held discussions with more than one candidate over the role, despite Maurizio Sarri currently being on course to lead his side to the Serie A title.

The Juve hierarchy are said to not be convinced by Sarri after the club were embroiled in a closer title race than they had ancipated.

They still need another two wins from their final four matches to be crowned champions for a ninth successive season.

Pochettino is believed to be open to a switch to Italy, and his representatives have met with the club.
