Former Tottenham goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt says Hugo Lloris deserves greater recognition.
The Icelander acknowledges Lloris can drop the odd howler, but insists his consistency deserves greater praise.
"When discussing the best keepers in the Premier League, we are happy to talk about David de Gea, Alisson or Ederson. I think Lloris is underestimated," Thorstvedt told VG.
"He had a couple of extremely high-profile mistakes, he was injured - and he made a mistake even in the World Cup finals. He makes some serious mistakes, but in total he comes out really well.
"He is good with his legs, he cuts off passes, and he saves more than expected.
"He's lightning fast! I think he fends off a lot of things that way. He was a little too hot on the porch at the start in Tottenham. He ended up in situations outside at 20-25 metres where he stopped. But he has become better at reading those situations."
