Former Tottenham goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt is excited by the prospect of a new manager.
Spurs are expected to wait until the summer to make an appointment after the sacking of Jose Mourinho a fortnight ago.
Thorstvedt told VG: "It will be very exciting to see what happens. Fortunately, they now have some time to themselves. It can be an advantage.
"Ralf Rangnick can be a good name. He has a clear philosophy, is a man for building teams and knows a lot about club management. He can scout, and he can build systems, as a former sports director at Red Bull. But I do not know if he bothers to take a job at Tottenham.
"Eddie Howe is mentioned, but I do not think he will be. A 'dark horse' is Graham Potter. If he had had a goal scorer at Brighton, the team could have been far up the table."
