Former Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat is making a return to club football.

The Sunderland Echo says Advocaat is back in club football after taking up an advisory role with Dutch side ADO Den Haag.

And Advocaat's former Sunderland assistant, Zeljko Petrovic, is expected to follow Advocaat by becoming the club's new head coach.

Advocaat - who resigned as Sunderland manager last October - has been working as the Holland national team's assistant boss, but he will combine those duties with a position as technical advisor to Den Haag.
