Former Stoke City goalkeeper Steve Simonsen doesn't expect Tony Pulis to get the sack.
The Potters are hovering just above the dropzone.
But Simonsen told talkSPORT: "It's a bit early to be thinking about getting rid of the manager and bringing someone else in.
"The manager and the chairman have worked together for a long time and they trust each other implicably.
"Peter Coates, the chairman, knows Tony Pulis is the right man for the job. He has got Stoke to where they are today, albeit at this moment in time they are not in a fantastic position, and I am certain they will not be relegated."
