Former Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy is impressed by Wolves teen Morgan Gibbs-White.

The youngster shone off the bench for Saturday's defeat to Tottenham.

“It's very rare you see someone of his age and think 'wow'," Murphy told Match of the Day.

“His vision and the impact he had in a short space of time, his ability to run with the ball.

“He is exactly the type of player that we're crying out for.

“It's not always 'have they got the talent'? It's about if they've got the mentality to produce the talent on the biggest platform.

“That type of pass (for Helder Costa's miss) not many players see. Not the execution of it, it's seeing it right.

“Tottenham were great first half, and they were comfortable. They did create their own problems, but when Wolves brought this lad on, they showed better energy. His ability to look up and play those killer passes is something we don't have enough players doing.

“Tottenham have one in Winks who I think could develop, but he (Gibbs-White) was sensational."
